Templates
The application uses TEMPLATES to help standardize the LOTO process, improve accuracy, improve safety and reduces the labor associated with each Lockout Tagout event. Templates allow TagLink to generate all of the required safety paperwork and tags in as little as 3 mouse clicks. This is much easier and faster for the operator, provides a consistent isolation boundary, and reduces down-time for the equipment. Facilities realize cost savings through improved efficiency and greater productivity.

Common Tag module
The common tag module in TagLink allows the linking together of all associated isolation (ISO) points (tags) being used in the TagLink database. TagLink will link all ISO points for all “active” LOTOs and will track these related ISO points with notification to the user when changes occur for each LOTO that shares the common ISO point (tag). This feature provides enhanced safety and notification of all related LOTOs especially in facilities with more complex equipage.

Testing for release
TagLink provides several methods for tracking and notification of equipment released for testing. The application will provide “temporary release” form tracking and printing for test release. In the flexible option panel you can select the “enhanced” testing option which will allow notification of ALL LOTOs and ISO Points that will be affected by the specific test release on a designated piece of equipment. The enhanced testing functionality will also provide customizable test reports to track all the equipment released for testing.

Job Safety Analysis/Safe Work Permit
To support pre-job briefs such as; Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Safe Work permits TagLink provides the creation of the pre-job requirement, track each and provide all the required forms for initiation of the work associated with each. TagLink also allows the pre-job brief to be used to initiate your lockout-tagout requirements with several clicks of the mouse. This enhanced functionality safe times, ensures greater efficiencies and use of the pre-job information/data.

Confined Space module
TagLink provides the ability to generate the Confined Space permitting process BOTH inclusive of a LOTO and external of a LOTO. The Confined Space module allows for the issuance of a “permit required” Confined Space permit, which can then be “reclassified” to issue a “non-permit required” Confined Space permit. The module will track all the associated permits and allow for the printing of all the required forms.

Hot Work module
As part of the “work” process the tracking and issuance of a Hot Work permits are critical to support work requirements. TagLink provides the ability to issue Hot Work permits both associated with or outside of the facilities LOTOs. It also provides the ability print all the required forms associated with the Hot Work permit requirements.

CMMS integration
TagLink connects the “Work Order to the Work” with a built-in link to the commercially available Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software. TagLink is NOT dependent on the CMMS link; however, when the two systems are linked it provide tremendous benefits. Most importantly it provides alignment of the work order data/work order #, etc. to be used in each LOTO. This will ensure connectivity between the maintenance and operation of your facility, improve accuracy and ultimately reduce down-time of the facilities equipment.

Security module
In TagLink there is a detailed Security Module that allows for both Group Security and Individual Security levels. The security module manages over 70 different functional attributes to ensure that it conforms to your LOTO, Hot Work and Confined processes. It also allows you to customize each of the security groups and individual alignment to ensure proper alignment and use of your automated LOTO, Hot Work and Confined processes.

Flexible options panel
TagLink was designed to be the MOST flexible platform available. To allow TagLink to best align to your processes we provide a selection for over 30 application options. Some of the options are; Fire Protection Impairment (FPI) module, Change of ISO [isolation] points tracking, Common Tag module, etc. These options are available via TagLink’s flexible option panel that is easily accessible to the facilities TagLink administrator.

Reporting tools
TagLink provides an advanced search tool that can be used to create a multitude of customized ad-hoc reports. Moreover, TagLink’s standard Lockout Tagout forms are built over Crystal Reports and can be completely customized to fit your needs.
